The Pencil Grip, Inc: Kwik Stix {TOS Review} & GIVEAWAY!

Are you tired of tell your kids "no" when they want to paint because you dread the mess? What if I told you I let my children paint anytime they wanted because they didn't make a mess? Would you believe me? Let me tell you about a new product we've been reviewing from The Pencil Grip, Inc called Kwik Stix.
WHAT ARE KWIK STIX?

Kwik Stix are solid tempera paint sticks that are super simple to use and do not make a mess! The paint stick reminds my kids and me of a glue stick. You uncap, twist the paint stick and paint! The colors are so vibrant, and the paint goes on very smoothly. You can use Kwik Stix on paper, wood, canvas, or cardboard. Best of all - the paint dries in 90 seconds {or less}! The Pencil Grip, Inc. sent me a Kwik Stix 12 pk of paint sticks in classic colors.

HOW DID WE USE KWIK STIX?

My children tore into these as soon as we received them in the mail! They were surprised that they didn't need a paintbrush or cup of water. They were even more surpised when I didn't make them change into an old T-shirt or put a sheet on the ground before painting!

My 8 year old daughter, Mercie, 5 year old son, Silas, and 3 year old son, Titus, used Kwik Stix to paint several pictures. They kept wanting to make "just one more!" picture. We also used these on toilet paper rolls to make kaleidoscopes.

WHAT DID WE THINK OF KWIK STIX?

We are very impressed with Kwik Stix! They are so easy to use - uncap, twist, and paint! They really do not  make a mess! And they dry so quickly - great for my impatient 3 year old! They are really fun to work with, and my daughter could even write words with the paint sticks. I plan to buy a pack of these for each of my nieces and nephews for Christmas this year!
{"I Love Kwik Stix - Look what they can do!"}

The Pencil Grip, Inc. also sent me the Single Grip pencil grip to use. My daughter, Mercie, and my son, Silas, are both lefties. They both have a strange pencil grip and write very sloppy. Mercie tries to hard to write neatly, but she has a hard time keeping her letters on the lines and keeping them the same size. She has been using the Single Grip a little bit, but I plan to make her start using it for all of her homeschool work. She complains that it "feels funny" having to hold her pencil the correct way,  but I predict it will help her with her fine-motor control and to improve her handwriting. These grips are available on their website for $1.79 each, a very reasonable price! There also different grips to choose from on this page.
