The Best Sugar Cookies Ever!

I think I have found the best sugar cookie recipe ever. These cookies turned out perfect - crispy on the edges and soft and chewy in the middle!

Ingredients:
  • 2 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 and 1/4 cup margarine
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • sugar or sprinkles for decoration

Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a medium size bowl, stir the flour, salt, and baking soda together.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the margarine and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then the vanilla.
  5. Stir in the flour mixture a little at a time until just blended.
  6. Roll the dough into balls and roll the balls in sugar or sprinkles.
  7. Place dough balls 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 8 minutes {until edges are light brown}.
  9. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
I rolled ours in sprinkles, and they turned out so pretty!
