Homeschool Highlights 6/29/20 - 7/3/20

It's hard to believe another month has come and gone! June flew by so quickly. We had a busy week this week which is why I didn't have anything on the blog!

Monday and Tuesday I had several Tot School in a Box kits and a few Preschool Kits to make and deliver or mail. We were also packing up and cleaning so we could head back to Texas this week. Rod is off on Saturday and Sunday for Independence Day and wanted us to come and do something fun with him.

Silas worked in his Stem Kit from Pitsco (a review item) learning about and making

Wednesday I helped Mikaela open her first bank account! She is still working in the Deli/Bakery at our local grocery store. Her favorite part is decorating cakes and cupcakes! She is really good at it. She didn't get to come with us because of her job, and she is staying at my parent's house while we are gone.

Thursday we traveled all day! We hit several areas of road work and stopped traffic, but we finally made it around 6:00 last night.

Today I'm making Zeke a 4th of July sensory tray and playdough tray! I am putting beef tips in the crockpot to be served with rice, gravy, corn, and salad tonight. It's supposed to hit 99 degrees today and 101 tomorrow, so we will probably stay inside most of the day. Tomorrow we plan to go to the aquarium in Austin!

Here are a few of Zeke's activities this week.

A tray based on the poem "Five Speckled Frogs". This was big hit!
