Thankful Thursday

I’m joining Jennifer with Thankful Thursday this week! There is always so much to be thankful for, so I’m just going to take a look back at last week and this week and list the small things that I’m thankful for!

I’m thankful for Titus (and his game face!) and his love of board games. He beat me in Rummikub because he is so good at strategy!!

I’m thankful for Zoey who brings us all so much joy and laughter! She was painting with paint sticks and decided to decorate her head! It came off easily in the tub.

I’m thankful for my crockpot and this new recipe! It was so easy and so good - there was zero leftover! It’s called Crockpot Sausage and Potatoes and couldn’t be easier!

I’m thankful that Zeke is so patient with Zoey (most of the time). When she was destroying his fort, he simply made her one of her own!

I’m thankful that I get to homeschool these two together, and I’m looking forward to many years of this! It can get chaotic sometimes - well actually everyday when Zoey wants to climb on the table and draw on Zeke’s papers and throw everything on the floor. But I’m still thankful for them!

I’m thankful for my dad, and today is actually his birthday! He spends so much time with my kids, like taking them down to New Orleans a few weeks ago when our high school football team went to the Super Dome for the championship (and won!).  Silas and Titus are on the left, and my nephew Liam is on the right.

I’m thankful for little things I find all over the house. This is Bigfoot and Zeke trapped him!

What are you thankful for?

  1. I loved reading about your family! Zeke's game face made me laugh. I don't know if you know this, but we also homeschooled as well! we did that for ten years overall, and I loved almost every second. Thanks for linking up today!

    1. Oh I didn’t realize you homeschooled! I have homeschooled for 16 years, some years we had some in public and some homeschooled, but we have always had at least one being homeschooled!

  2. Your kids are so cute! Zoey has the look about her as one who could keep everyone in laughter with her cute antics. That is awesome that your dad is such a big part of your kids´ lives. Have a great Thursday!
