Tot School: F is for Farm

We had a blast with our F is for Farms theme! This was a few weeks ago when Zeke was 24 months old. We are using the toddler curriculum from Moms Have Questions Too along with my own tot tray ideas and some of my own worksheets.

Feed the Animals!

This tot tray was super easy to set up. I glued a pig to a pink cup and a sheep to a white cup, then gave Zeke an assortment of pink and white pom poms to feed each "animal." I also provided some tongs for him to use, but he still has trouble with these.

Sticky Sheep!

Zeke loves any activity with contact paper, and this was so simple. I drew a very basic sheep on contact paper and taped it to the wall, sticky side out. I gave Zeke a bag of cotton balls to use to put wool on the sheep. He did such a great job with this and it kept him entertained for about half an hour! The good thing was, the cotton balls peeled right off the contact paper and were able to be saved for another activity.

Barn Matching!

I set up Zeke's Little People barn and printed and laminated the barn 3-part cards in the curriculum. Zeke had to put each card next to the matching farm item. He loved this!

He also did plenty of fun worksheets, like the following:

He matched foam shape stickers to each barn.

He dot markered the F and f.

He put farm stickers on his letters.

He did a tractor puzzle.

He matched pictures to their shadows.

More dot markering!

He traced lines.

He matched shapes.

He played with is Picasso Tiles!

And that was our F is for Farm themed week!
