  2. We do this often; I found these adorable hardcover books called Hold that Thought For Kids when my boys were babies and toddlers and they're filled with interviews on all sorts of topics. It is hilarious what they come up with. I distinctly remember one of my toddlers telling me he wanted to be a pig when he grew up. He thinks that is hilarious now.

  3. This is awesome! I did a First Day of School Interview one year and it was fun. I need to do them more.

My 6 year old said, when we talked about occupations, that he wanted to be a Taste Tester! (Food Critic) He'd get along with your 10 year old I think, lol!

  5. Great ideas for interview questions! I'm jotting them down so that I can ask my kids the same ones this week. It would be a fun way to start off 2016.

  6. Was impressed your older kids had verses memorized to quote their favorite verse! There is nothing better than God's Word hidden in the heart.l You might want to let Mercie know that hairdressers don't make a lot of money, so that she won't be too disappointed :-(

    1. I am always so proud of my kids for their memorization skills! It takes motivation for sure. Yes, I told Mercie that hairdressers didn't bring in the big bucks! But to a 7 year old, when I pay $20 for a haircut to someone, that's big money!! ;-)
