My kids enjoy doing this each year. Normally, we are at home when we do it, so we take the boxes to our church. This year, we are in Ohio, so I looked on the website and found a drop-off location nearby. This is such an important charity and kids can be very involved. My kids picked out all the items for their boxes (except the three year old!), and very lovingly packed their box.  I encourage you to pack a box or two!

  1. We did this last week. My kids have so much fun buying and packing. This year Annette took the initiative to fill her own box. I didn't even know. When we were ready to go shopping her box was already filled.

    Great job y'all :)

  3. My daughters are always good at initiating this tradition and love following the box online to see where it ends up. Thank you for sharing all your ideas.

  4. I always consider doing this, but then miss the deadline! Usually I wind up donating to DD's school's Giving Tree, but some day, I will be organized enough!
